Indian Hills Extends Innovative Partnership with Opendorse

(Ottumwa, IA and Lincoln, Neb. – October 13, 2025) – The Indian Hills Community College Athletic Department has expanded its partnership with Opendorse, the national leader in Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). Indian Hills becomes the first National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) member to ink a premiere partnership deal with Opendorse.

After two years as a partner with Opendorse, Indian Hills has extended its agreement to include custom offerings from the TIME100 Most Influential Company. The strategic partnership, the first of its kind at the NJCAA level, will allow Indian Hills student-athletes to maximize their potential in the NIL landscape.

“At Indian Hills, we recognize that the college athletics landscape is rapidly evolving, especially with the growing importance of Name, Image, and Likeness,” stated Indian Hills Athletic Director Kelsi Weeks. “As an institution, we are committed to education in all areas of life, we want to equip our student-athletes not only to succeed on the field and in the classroom, but also to understand the business side of the college athletics world they now compete in. Partnering with Opendorse was a natural fit because their innovative platform empowers student-athletes to maximize their NIL potential while providing the tools and expertise to support them in navigating these opportunities responsibly and successfully.”

As part of the partnership, Indian Hills receives on-site educational programming from Opendorse’s leading professionals, along with financial literacy and NIL-based training initiatives. Student-athletes will continue to create and promote their personalized brand via the customized Warrior Marketplace, a one-stop shop for outside industries to engage with student-athletes and NIL opportunities.

“Indian Hills Community College is positioning themselves as the leader in NIL at the NJCAA level,” said Jake Daugherty, Opendorse Manager, Collegiate Partnerships. “Their commitment to innovation and athlete success makes this partnership especially meaningful as we work together to provide student-athletes with the education, tools, and opportunities to take full control of their NIL potential.”

Recently, Indian Hills served as the first NJCAA institution to receive an on-site visit from members of the Opendorse leadership team, paving the way for student-athletes to capitalize on NIL opportunities at the highest of levels.

Opendorse became the official NIL partner of the NJCAA in August 2022. With its initial partnership with Opendorse in 2023, Indian Hills became the first Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) member to launch an NIL Marketplace with Opendorse.
