All Fresno State student-athletes will have access to Opendorse Ready, which provides unique education, resources, and solutions for student-athletes to elevate their brands and be prepared to maximize their Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) value.
Fresno State Athletics has joined Opendorse Ready, the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) Readiness Program, in a new partnership designed to help student-athletes maximize NIL value by providing social media brand development solutions with proven effectiveness at the highest ranks of professional sports.
“We’re committed to holistically preparing every Fresno State student-athlete for long-term success beyond the field of play,” said Fresno State Athletics Director Terry Tumey. “With coming changes to NIL rights, I believe that it’s our role as leaders to provide the best possible resources for our student-athletes. With this in mind, we are excited to join Opendorse Ready. This partnership will provide every Fresno State student-athlete with best-in-class education and technology tools to position themselves for success in social media engagement and personal brand development.”
Opendorse Ready provides technology resources for student-athletes to understand their name, image and likeness (NIL) rights and receive hands-on assistance from experts to maximize their personal value. The platform also delivers content directly to student-athletes to use in telling their stories on social media.

With Opendorse Ready, Fresno State Athletics is able to provide the program’s NIL readiness solutions for all of its more than 500 student-athletes. The program offers three core pillars to student-athlete success: Assessment, Education, and Performance – tailored to assist each individual athlete.
The agreement positions Fresno State as the first university athletics department in California and the Mountain West to join Opendorse Ready. The Bulldogs join the University of Nebraska, Clemson University, Indiana University, and several others as the first schools to adopt the comprehensive program nationwide.
