Fort Collins, Colo. and Lincoln, Neb. – Colorado State Athletics and Opendorse today announced they have finalized a long-term partnership to ensure the Rams’ excellence in Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) and Revenue Sharing (Rev-Share) for years to come.
Through the innovative relationship, CSU leadership will have access to the full suite of Opendorse products and services, including Rev-Share Ready™ consulting for future planning, Opendorse Budgets™ for data-backed cap management, Opendorse Payments™ for streamlined contract fulfillment, and a No-Fee Marketplace for deeper fan engagement.
The expansion provides the Rams with priority access for high-demand offerings like Opendorse NIL Media Day™, plus custom dashboards, proprietary insights, dynamic athlete education (in-person and virtual), and more.
The agreement also ensures enhanced commercial NIL opportunities for CSU athletes through their prioritization in national campaigns from the Opendorse Brand Network™.
“Our partnership with Opendorse has been great from the start. Enhancing our relationship is going to help us continue to compete at the highest level of intercollegiate athletics as we prepare to enter the revenue-sharing era,” said Colorado State Director of Athletics John Weber. “Opendorse is providing great tools and collaboration to our coaches and staff while empowering our athletes to maximize the potential of their Name, Image, and Likeness, ensuring they receive the support, resources, and opportunities to thrive. We have been working hard to make sure Colorado State Athletics is prepared for the future, and this partnership has been and will continue to be significant. This fall has been special, and I am excited about the future!”
Opendorse will also hire a Director of NIL and Rev-Share Operations to serve CSU Athletics, working on campus in Fort Collins as the primary point of contact and strategist for NIL and Rev-Share matters. The Director of NIL and Rev-Share Operations posting is live now and will remain open until the search is completed.
“When you talk about the most innovative athletic departments in the country, Colorado State is at the top of the list,” said Opendorse Co-Founder and President of Collegiate Operations Blake Lawrence. “While some are hoping to survive in the new world of college athletics, CSU is preparing to thrive. And they will. They’ll have access to all our industry-leading products and technology, but it’s our service – our people and the way we show up for our partners – that really sets us apart. We’re excited to support the Rams’ vision on a daily basis and continue building something great together.”
