(Warrensburg, Mo. and Lincoln, Neb. – September 3, 2025) – The University of Central Missouri (UCM) has expanded its partnership with Opendorse by adding a Remote Account Administrator to provide dedicated, behind-the-scenes support for its Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) program, further strengthening its position as a leader in Division II athletics.
The Remote Account Administrator will serve as a direct extension of the UCM team, handling platform setup, contract entry, compliance checks, and final deal execution. This support ensures NIL opportunities are completed accurately and efficiently, while allowing athletic department staff to stay focused on supporting student-athletes.
“We are excited to continue expanding our NIL opportunities with Opendorse,” said Bree Heathscott, Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Success & NIL at Central Missouri. “This expansion provides an added level of support to ensure our student-athletes have the best resources to grow their personal brands and capitalize on opportunities that prepare them for success both now and in the future. UCM is proud to be leading the way in Division II, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact this will continue to have on our student-athletes.”
This expansion builds on last year’s renewal, which introduced the first no-fee NIL marketplace in Division II along with access to industry-leading education, content, and compliance resources. Together, these tools connected student-athletes directly with fans, brands, and donors while giving them the resources to grow their personal brands. With the addition of a Remote Account Administrator, UCM is taking the next step to ensure every opportunity is managed effectively.
“Central Missouri continues to raise the bar year after year,” said Jake Daugherty, Manager of Collegiate Partnerships at Opendorse. “The addition of a Remote Account Administrator is another step in building a long-term model that serves athletes, fans, and the entire UCM community.”
With this expansion, UCM now stands at the forefront of NIL resources across Division II. By combining an athlete-first marketplace, best-in-class education, and now dedicated administrative support, the university is creating one of the most comprehensive and sustainable NIL programs in the country.
