(Kenosha, Wis. and Lincoln, Neb. – July 22, 2025) – Big Red Collective today announced a partnership with Opendorse to provide a secure, compliant platform for compensating Carthage student-athletes. With Opendorse already in place as the school’s NIL platform, Big Red Collective can step in and begin supporting athletes right away, using a system Carthage student-athletes already know and trust.
Founded by Carthage alumni, Big Red Collective exists to provide meaningful support for student-athletes. By partnering with Opendorse, the Collective makes it easier for donors to contribute in a compliant and transparent way, while streamlining the experience for athletes.
“At this level, we aren’t looking to change their future with huge NIL deals. “We’re looking to enhance their collegiate experience and bridge the gap between financial aid and the cost to live and learn at the college,” said Big Red Collective founder Kyle Deaton. “Our goal is simple: support student-athletes who give their all to this campus and community.”
“Big Red Collective is building on the strong NIL foundation already in place at Carthage,” said Jake Daugherty, Manager of Collegiate Partnerships at Opendorse. “This partnership creates even more opportunity for student-athletes to receive the support they need, using a platform they already know and trust.”
This is what NIL looks like at the Division III level: simple, direct, and built to make a difference.
