Banana Ball Athletes Hit the Road with the Ford F-150 in Partnership with Savannah Area Ford Dealers

(Savannah, Ga. and Lincoln, Neb. – December 19, 2025) – Savannah area Ford dealers are partnering with Banana Ball Championship League athletes Dalton Mauldin and Tanner Thomas to promote the Ford F-150 through a new social-first content campaign. Mauldin and Thomas reach more than two million followers combined across Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube Shorts.

The campaign spotlights a day outdoors, featuring Mauldin and Thomas using the Ford F-150 as they head out for a fishing trip. The partnership was facilitated by Opendorse, connecting the Savannah area Ford dealers with creators aligned to reach their target audience.

“The Ford F-150 has always been about showing up for the moments that matter, whether that’s a hard day’s work or time spent outdoors with friends,” said Stephen Staton, vice chair of the Southeast Ford Dealers representing the Savannah area. “Seeing Dalton Mauldin and Tanner Thomas use the F-150 for a day of fishing highlights the truck’s capability and versatility in a setting that feels true to our coastal community.”

Mauldin, known to fans as “Songbird” for his passion for music, played college baseball at Bethune-Cookman University and Trevecca Nazarene University. He began his Banana Ball career with the Savannah Bananas and will represent the Loco Beach Coconuts during the 2026 Banana Ball Championship League season. The Coconuts are one of two expansion teams joining the league alongside the Indianapolis Clowns.

Thomas, a former Virginia Tech baseball player, is a current member of the Party Animals. Based in Savannah, the Party Animals are known for high-energy entertainment that has become a hallmark of the Banana Ball experience.

The Ford F-150 continues its legacy as America’s best-selling pickup, offering capability, technology, and durability for both work and lifestyle needs. Features available on select models include a 12-inch touchscreen with SYNC 4, available BlueCruise hands-free driving technology, a built-in modem, Blind Spot Assist, and a 10-speed automatic transmission across available engines.
