Washington State Expands NIL Commitment with Opendorse Partnership

(Pullman, Wash. and Lincoln, Neb. – September 30, 2025) – Washington State University Athletics has joined forces with Opendorse, the leading NIL technology, data, and service provider, to equip student-athletes with the tools they need to build and capitalize on their personal brands.

At the core of the partnership is a branded Washington State NIL Marketplace powered by Opendorse, built to provide Cougar student-athletes with a trusted platform to showcase their profiles, connect with fans and brands, and participate in NIL opportunities with confidence.

In addition, Washington State student-athletes will gain access to a suite of NIL education resources. This includes on-demand video lessons, expert-led webinars, and sponsored programming covering personal finance, brand development, and NIL best practices. Athletes will also benefit from Opendorse Masterclass and Library content, a premium collection of video-based education modules on contracts, marketing, tax preparation, and related NIL topics.

“This partnership with Opendorse is such a wonderful opportunity for our student-athletes to expand their NIL profile and prepare for life after their time in Pullman,” said WSU Director of Athletics Anne McCoy. “These resources are invaluable for the development of our young men and women, and we look forward to teaming with the industry leader in Opendorse.”

This investment reflects Washington State’s broader commitment to preparing athletes for life on and off the field. With resources designed to meet both immediate NIL needs and long-term career growth.

“We are proud to partner with Opendorse in supporting the NIL pursuits of our student-athletes,” said WSU Deputy Director of Athletics Ike Ukaegbu.  “Their progressive NIL Marketplace and educational resources will help our student-athletes understand, build, protect, and monetize their brand value.”

“Opendorse is proud to support Washington State and its student-athletes,” said Blake Lawrence, President, Collegiate Operations and Co-Founder of Opendorse. “By pairing a branded marketplace with best-in-class education, Washington State is showing a true commitment to the success of its athletes in every facet of NIL.”

The launch of Washington State’s marketplace, combined with premium education, represents an investment in the complete student-athlete experience, helping Cougars during their time on campus and beyond.
