Opendorse, HCAC, NCAC, OAC & PAC Announce Second Year of Opendorse Bowl Series at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium

(Canton, Ohio and Lincoln, Neb. – April 29, 2025) – Opendorse, the leading NIL technology, data, and service company, has renewed its partnership as title sponsor of the Opendorse Bowl Series. The series is set to return to Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, on November 22, once again uniting top programs from four premier DIII conferences.

Founded in 2024, the Opendorse Bowl Series was created in collaboration with the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC), North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC), Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC), and Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC). Each league will be represented by a team not selected for the NCAA tournament, ensuring a postseason opportunity for student-athletes to compete at a historic venue to cap off their season with top-notch competition.

“Opendorse has been a valuable partner in supporting this unique postseason opportunity for student-athletes across all four conferences. The inaugural event generated tremendous energy and enthusiasm, and there’s strong momentum to build upon. Beyond competition, the partnership with Opendorse provided an opportunity for student-athletes to gain meaningful insights and tools to utilize in the NIL landscape. The four conferences look forward to continuing this impactful partnership with another exciting Bowl Series in November,” said Bethany Dannelly, Commissioner of the OAC.

Opendorse’s continued support ensures participating conferences and student-athletes receive year-round support, education, and exposure to NIL opportunities—resources that are increasingly important at the Division III level. With a mission rooted in athlete empowerment, Opendorse is built to help every athlete, at every level, succeed in the NIL era.

“As a player, I really enjoyed getting an opportunity to be exposed to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, as well as play in the inaugural Opendorse Bowl Series. I thought it was a unique experience to play in a bowl game at this level, and I hope that more experiences like this open in the future for Division III football,” said Xavier Tyler, a student-athlete at Wabash.

The inaugural event drew regional and national attention, further proving that top-tier opportunities in college football extend beyond Division I. With the series returning in 2025, it has quickly become a highlight of the DIII postseason.

Last year’s Opendorse Bowl Series saw wins from Hanover in the ForeverLawn Bowl and Westminster (Pa.) in the Extra Points Bowl.

“The Opendorse Bowl Series is an incredible event and opportunity for the student-athletes from these four top conferences,” said Opendorse Co-Founder & President, Collegiate Operations Blake Lawrence. “Attending the event last year—watching the games, engaging with the athletes, leading education sessions, and connecting with conference leadership—was truly a career highlight. We are proud to continue our support and sponsorship of the bowls, providing a memorable experience for the players and a valuable platform for participating athletic departments.”

The 2025 Opendorse Bowl Series is set for November 22 at Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, and will once again feature two games between top teams representing the HCAC, NCAC, OAC, and PAC.
