Our client is seeking an Electronic Waste Dismantling Associate to join their team. As an Electronic Waste Dismantling Associate, you will be part of the team supporting the dismantling, sorting, and processing of electronic equipment. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety procedures which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Electronic Waste Dismantling Associate
Location: Ontario, CA
Pay Range: $18.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30PM
What’s the Job?
- Sort and dismantle electronic equipment using hand tools separating materials by commodity
- Identify and sort components into the appropriate material bins, ensuring proper categorization of commodities
- Operate heavy equipment including balers, shredders, and forklifts for moving pallets and managing materials within the warehouse
- Unload, tag, and sort electronic waste upon delivery
- Sort, weigh, and separate products by commodity, and update inventory in the Razor ERP system
What’s Needed?
- Familiarity with handling and sorting electronic waste or similar materials is a plus
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting and moving heavy objects 50lbs
- Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety procedures
